T. Jacob Felder began practicing relaxation and meditation techniques in 1974. He discovered the deeper states of meditation in 2001. With renewed interest, he dedicated himself to developing an easy and understandable approach to meditation. By 2003 he had developed The Awareness Approach.™ Since that time, he has had such a high rate of success teaching people to meditate, that he decided to write this book and produce a companion CD to make The Awareness Approach available to the general public. Jacob is a passionate and patient instructor of meditation at all levels. He lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he teaches meditation and yoga, and works in his garden.
